At Modern Matter, each piece is thoughtfully assembled, inspected, and carefully packed in our Virginia Beach studio. 

Many of our designs are custom-made and prepared specifically for your order, allowing us to ensure the highest level of quality, finish, and detail.

Quick Ship Items
All in-stock Quick Ship items ship via UPS Ground service within 5–7 business days.

Custom Items 
Some Modern Matter pieces are made to order or customized based on your selections. These items require additional time for selection and assembly.

• Cabinet hardware custom items require additional time for preparation and assembly, with timelines noted on each product page
  • Gemstone items are individually selected and set by hand, and typically ship within 10–14 business days 
  • Custom finishes, such as custom power-coated items, are made to order and typically ship within 8 weeks 
• Bath hardware is custom assembled and typically ships within 10–14 business days

This process allows us to maintain the high level of craftsmanship and consistency that defines Modern Matter.
